Join us for the SJCOE STEAM Fair & Expo 2026 hosted by the San Joaquin County Office of Education at the Wentworth Education Center in Stockton! This annual community-wide event celebrates student achievement in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics while offering hands-on learning experiences for students and families from across the county.
We’re seeking LLNL volunteers to host a table and engage attendees through interactive STEM activities or demonstrations. The event is expected to draw approximately 400 students and family members, making this a high-impact opportunity to represent LLNL and inspire future innovators
The LLNL Science Education Program (SEP) will provide all materials and instructions for a fun STEM optics activity — an easy, engaging way to interact with attendees of all ages.
Your participation helps create an enriching and memorable STEAM experience for students, families, and the broader community.

What’s Provided
Tables and chairs will be provided by the event organizers.
SEP will provide materials for the STEM slime activity, or volunteers may bring their own approved STEM-themed demonstration.
Light lunch, drinks, and snacks will be provided for exhibitors.
