Join us for Emma C. Smith Elementary’s Annual Family Science Night! This free community event invites families to explore the world of science together through fun, hands-on STEM activities.
We’re seeking enthusiastic STEM professionals to host interactive tables or lead demonstrations that spark curiosity and excitement in science, technology, engineering, arts, and math.
Volunteers can choose from two options for their booth or activity:
-
Option 1: The LLNL Science Education Program (SEP) will provide all materials and instructions for a fun STEM slime activity — a great, easy-to-run way to engage students of all ages.
Option 2: Volunteers may bring their own hands-on STEM activity or demonstration. Simply share your idea with us — we’ll review it to ensure it complements the event and offer any support you need.
Your participation helps make this community event memorable and meaningful, while promoting a love of STEM among local families and students.
