Join us for the NorCal Science and Technology Festival hosted at Lodi High School! This large, community-wide event brings together students, families, and educators to celebrate science, technology, and innovation through hands-on activities and interaction with working scientists and engineers.
We’re seeking LLNL volunteers to share their research, talk about STEM careers, and engage attendees through interactive demonstrations or activities. This is a high-visibility event and a fantastic opportunity to represent LLNL while inspiring curiosity and enthusiasm for science among young learners and the broader community.
Volunteers can choose from two options for their booth or activity:
Option 1: The LLNL Science Education Program (SEP) will provide all materials and instructions for a fun STEM slime activity — a simple, engaging way to interact with attendees of all ages.
Option 2: Volunteers may bring their own hands-on STEM activity or demonstration related to their work or interests. Simply share your idea with us — we’ll review it to ensure it fits the event and offer any support you need.
Your participation helps make this regional science festival exciting, educational, and memorable for thousands of attendees.
