Join System Overload Robotics, a student-led, community-based high school robotics team, as a volunteer mentor or advisor supporting students in engineering, science, project management, and business operations. This opportunity offers meaningful, longer-term engagement with motivated students who are expanding their robotics program and outreach efforts.
We’re seeking LLNL volunteers to serve as technical or business mentors, with particular need for guidance in grant writing, budgeting, and financial planning, as well as engineering and project management support. Volunteers may participate in a one-time session or on an ongoing basis, depending on availability and interest.
This is a flexible opportunity well-suited for volunteers who want to make a deeper impact by mentoring students as they develop technical skills, leadership, and real-world problem-solving experience
Time: Variable; typically, 2–3 hours per session
